The next release on FFA is a debut EP by Kretoal; an artist that has featured on the label before, that continues to make huge strides in his sound design and song arsenal. Let's have a brief catch up with the artist, to see what's coming up next, and also check out two songs from the EP, exclusively here first before the 28th of March release date!
1. What inspired the creation of ‘Covert EP’?
Kretoal: "One of my main inspirations in creating the EP was messing around with percussion. I messed around with many types of percussion and got all these types of sounds that I used in the making of this EP."
2. Which track(s) from Covert EP are you most excited for people to hear the most?
Kretoal: "I’m most excited to share my 2 most anticipated tracks: Trap Door, and Furtive. Those 2 tracks have been my 2 of my best musics that I have created as of yet and I’m excited to know what people will think of it."
3. Can you share any interesting sounds or techniques made on Covert EP, that you used in the production of the release?
Kretoal: "I used a lot of frequency shifters on these percussion to get all types of tonality. I also automated it throughout the track to get different tonality in different sections."

4. What’s next for you after Covert EP? Have you got any plans lined up that you would like to share with the listeners?
Kretoal: "I plan on releasing more music in the future and get my music out there. Another goal of mine is to branch out on different labels. Some of the labels I would like to get on are: Juize Box, Interval Audio, Disciple Round Table, and Reinelex."
