Q1. Welcome to Full Flex Audio Skreeture! For those that don’t know about your style, tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got into the dubstep scene?
"Hello! My name is Skreeture, I’m 15 years old and I started producing music around the age of 11 when I first got exposed to FL Studio and electronic music at that time from a friend. With time, I developed this unmatched way of translating my emotive experiences into sounds. My music is influenced from different genres of electronic music – I like to keep exploring what’s musically possible and not limiting my creative potential within a single genre."
Q2. What can the listeners expect from Blossoms, and also your forthcoming EP project on Full Flex Audio?
"Personally, writing this whole project has opened my eyes in many ways. While listening to the EP, you’ll experience a diverse range of glitchy and grainy sound design, plus rhythmic flows arranged in a certain way to give you an abstract and otherworldly experience."
Q3. Most artists in their musical journeys will experience a writer's block of some sort. How do you go about making sure this doesn't happen to yourself?
"I can’t work at my full potential all the time and facing a writer’s block is very normal for people like me. I usually overcome creative blocks by distancing myself from the studio and spend time with friends and family, trying to see the life that I’m surrounded by more visibly."
Q4. Electronic music as a whole is always changing and adapting as the years go by. Where do you see the future of EDM music going?
"I have a lot of mixed feelings about today’s dubstep, a part of it feels way too much oversaturated and then there are people who are breaking boundaries and pushing the sound of bass music towards the future of EDM."
Q5. What's your favourite music plugins when producing music?
"Granular synthesisers for sure!"
Q6. When you start a new project, which element of the track do you start off with first?
"It’s extremely random for me, I can start by designing a serum patch or play with a drum or guitar loop in a granuliser or write some chords to start an initial idea for a track."
Q7. If music as a whole was removed from the world, how would you feel?
"I cannot imagine that, music has influenced me drastically in many ways. I would not be the person I’m today without music."
